Classes emphasizes maintaining a neutral spine. We use yoga props (belts, bolsters, chairs and blocks) to allow adults and youth with flexibility limitations to safely perform poses. The Gentle Yoga class is for students who want a slower paced, less rigorous class. All classes focus on increasing strength and flexibility while enhancing physical and mental vitality.

Gentle –  For students who want a slower paced, less rigorous class. 

Level 1 – For beginning students.  Alignment based postures with an emphasis on standing poses & floor stretching.

Level 2 – For students who have a consistent yoga program in their life. Focus is on standing poses, beginning inversions, back arches and twists.

You will learn yoga  exercises to develop strength in the upper back and expansion in the front chest. Restorative asanas will help release chronic tension. The supported poses help facilitate deep breathing, a place to relax & “be”.

This class  is appropriate for students of all levels. We will adapt the asanas so each individual works at an appropriate level of challenge.

Students must be able to get on and off the floor unassisted.

Students will need 2 blankets, a towel, a strap, 2 blocks and a chair. If you need to borrow yoga props, see me!

Cancellation 24 hours or less = No refund or credit.
