The Adult Fitness program is designed to improve strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance for overall physical health and better functioning in daily activities. Students may also gain better self esteem. This program draws from physical therapy exercises, fall prevention research and functional exercise programs.
Students are encouraged to invest in a mat, a chair, stretchy bands, and a set of dumbbells. Water jugs or a heavy book will suffice if you do not have dumb bells. Students will be getting on and off the floor. We provide a safe and positive environment.
Students are encouraged to enroll two times weekly to get the greatest benefit and for the body & brain to learn & remember the exercises.
